Megan Vu

Hi! I’m Megan! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry with an American Sign Language minor from The University of Texas, in Austin. I’m currently in medical school at University of Houston. I have taught various subjects from physics to elementary education in a traditional classroom setting. I have also had the opportunity to teach STEM topics in an after-school program when I worked at a nonprofit organization. Additionally, I tutored biology, biochemistry, chemistry, as well as study planning and success while in university. During my studies at UT, I was also a TA for an organic chemistry laboratory course. I helped teach English and assisted with homework for refugees during the pandemic. I am a big believer in life-long learning and exposing yourself to many people, subjects, and opportunities. While I believe you can learn without necessarily attending school, I think that school provides a structured curriculum and an environment where you can be exposed to all of those things. I am really passionate about children and leading them towards success since they are our future leaders. I also believe that every student is capable of reaching their full potential, with guidance and patience!
