Hi! I’m Aja! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. I am a certified elementary educator with certifications in General Education, Special Education, ESL, and Principalship. I also serve as a youth leader at my church, where I work with students in grades 6-12 in biblical studies.
I chose SAOTG because it allows me to make a meaningful impact on students while maintaining balance in my personal and family life. I love building strong relationships with my students and helping them develop the skills they need to become confident, independent learners. I am passionate about teaching students that struggle is a natural part of learning and that breaking tasks into manageable steps can make even the most overwhelming challenges feel achievable.
