Hi! I’m Alex! I’m an Academic Coach with Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I earned my Bachelor of English summa cum laude from Southwestern University in 2025, along with an Associate of Liberal Arts with highest honors from Houston Community College. I also completed my diploma through Challenge Early College High School.
I have over four years of experience tutoring English and Social Studies, as well as two years working as a peer essay consultant at the Debby Ellis Writing Center at Southwestern University. I joined SAOTG because its teaching philosophy aligns deeply with my own: focusing on transferable skills that students can carry with them long after a session ends, rather than quick fixes. What I love most about coaching is knowing that I can meaningfully ease someone else’s challenges and help lighten the load they’re carrying.
