Anchith Kota

Hi! I’m Anchith! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I am currently a senior at Rice University where I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and cell biology and social policy analysis. I enjoy coaching with SAOTG because I fundamentally believe in its mission especially its emphasis on providing holistic coaching and preparation. I love seeing gradual change week by week in my students. Progress isn’t always linear or steady, but watching students slowly become more confident in their abilities and develop skills they’ll use later is one of the highlights of coaching. I always remind my students that no problem is entirely out of their hands. Whether it is taking steps to fix a situation or focusing on mindfulness to change your own perception of the problem, there is always something to be done to make you calmer and more self-aware.
