Hi! I’m Angela! I’m an Academic Coach with Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I bring over nine years of experience in ESL and Montessori education, early childhood development, and student support. My background includes professional education and leadership development through Harvard Graduate School of Education, Montessori school leadership training through the Montessori Institute of North Texas, and professional education in child development through Auburn University. I also have experience supporting diverse learners through individualized instruction, tutoring, and academic enrichment.

I chose SAOTG because its goals closely align with my values as an educator. I believe student success goes beyond understanding academic content, it also depends on developing habits that help students prepare, stay consistent, plan, and thrive. What I love most about coaching is seeing the “aha!” moment when students independently recognize the strategies and routines that work for them. I hope to teach students that mistakes are a natural part of learning and that they can always reflect, adjust, and try again.
