Hi! I’m Blake! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game. I grew up attending private school in the Houston-area, but then enrolled at the High School for Performing and Visual Arts as a Vocal major. I then matriculated to NYU to study opera performance as well as film/TV production and music business. While in college, I studied abroad to NYU Prague and elected to study languages in various European countries, including Italy and the Czech Republic.
I was a student with SAOTG once upon a time and I believe the skills I learned from the program have been pivotal in my success as a student and person. I love seeing the confidence and pride that my students have as they approach their work once they have the tools needed for success. I hope all my students feel confident about their life in all aspects, academically and personally. I want all my students to learn that success is possible and that sometimes it just takes some time to work out the kinks.
