Hi! I’m Caila! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a bachelor’s degree in biology. I am currently student teaching to become a certified teacher. I have had experience working with students in the classroom as a math intervention specialist and as a tutor. I am very passionate about education and I love working with kids and being a mentor.
I strive to teach all my students lessons that they can apply to their lives as they get older, in college, and so on. Content is important but so are life skills such as communication, organization, showing respect etc. I always encourage my students to slow down and take a breath. Things seem overwhelming and impossible when you are in the middle of them but if you can take a step back, take a breath and re-evaluate, things will work out just fine.
