Hi! I’m Chinyere “Chi” Ogbonna! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from Florida A&M University, as well as a Master’s of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. I started mentoring high school and middle school students on-campus through a public-school initiative at a church I attended. I have tutored k-12 math for over five years, I have worked as a math interventionist, and I have taught college algebra part-time at a junior college. I believe that school is important because learning is key to human development, and also it allows youth to develop both intellectually and socially. I love seeing a student become more comfortable and confident in the subject area they previously were not; to see the transformation is fulfilling and rewarding!
