Hi! I’m Daniel! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I hold both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in social work and am a Certified Life Coach. I’ve spent over forty years working in education, from elementary through high school, helping students across a wide range of backgrounds-from those in the juvenile justice system to gifted and talented learners.

I’ve developed programs and training initiatives designed to help teachers and students strengthen executive function, problem-solving, communication, and emotional management skills. Most recently, I served as a counselor at Lanier Middle School, where I supported students in navigating motivation, self-management, and the challenges of adolescence.

I believe life should be filled with fun and joy, and I bring that outlook into every coaching relationship. My goal is to walk with students through their journeys of self-discovery and help them achieve their goals faster than they ever thought possible.
