Hi I’m Geri! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with double minors in Psychology and Sociology from University of Houston, Downton. I also have a Master’s Degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Education from the University of St. Thomas. I have over 5 years of coaching experience in higher education and 10 years of tutoring experience. I have worked with students with varying degrees of learning differences. I have 15 years of classroom experience working with students in Early Childhood through 6th grade. I love the high-quality, individualized instruction that 1:1 coaching provides. I am able to meet the unique needs of each student. I aspire to create an inspiring learning environment that makes my students feel safe and secure. My aim is to leave a legacy that my students will remember: that I was a kind, warm person with a true passion for teaching and student success!
