Hi! I’m Jaklin! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Texas, in Austin. I have over ten years of classroom and tutoring experience. School is a place to provide academics, but it’s much more than that. It’s a place that helps each student build interpersonal and intrapersonal skills, emotional intelligence and their unique identity. It provides them with a platform to grow into themselves. My favorite thing is helping each student see that they have and can gain abilities they may not have been aware of before; giving them the tools and confidence to move forward in a positive way.
