Hi! I’m Jessica! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Houston. Additionally, I completed a Coding Bootcamp at Rice University. I am also certified to teach at the secondary level and have taught English in public school for 9th-12th grade students. I believe that the one-on-one tutoring environment can deeply help students in meaningful and long term ways. I enjoy differentiation, which is essentially tailoring education to meet the needs of the individual student. This means I can provide students with the tools they need to specifically accomplish their goals. I hope all my students understand that we are lifelong learners and that advocating for ourselves as learners is a fundamental skill!
