Hi! I’m Jimmy! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Northwestern State University and a Master’s of Public Administration from Arkansas State University. I have 14 years of teaching experience and find great joy working with students and cultivating their abilities and talents as they venture into their future. I enjoy coaching with Staying Ahead of the Game because I enjoy the idea of supporting students as a coach/mentor compared to just as a subject tutor. I love to help my students unveil and foster their inner capabilities and guiding them as they pursue and meet their aspirations and goals. I always encourage my students to come to the realization that they are capable of achieving their biggest dreams in spite of various obstacles.
