Hi! I’m Karissa! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sports Science with a concentration in Special Populations at TSU and a Master’s in Special Education at Grand Canyon University. I am a certified teacher and have worked in the classroom for 6 years. I have taught in special education as a resource ELAR teacher and dyslexia specialist for 5 years. As part of my role, I have created Individualized Education Plans for neurodiverse students. I believe we should teach students strategies on how they can improve their study skills and enhance their educational experience.
