Hi! I’m Kimberly! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game. I have a bachelor’s degree in Geology from University of Texas at Austin. I am currently enrolled in the Honors program at UT Health Cizik School of Nursing and Researching. I have a background in STEM and have worked in related fields ranging from lab settings with the Department of Homeland Security to out on a ship as an Oceanographer for the Navy.
I have always been very passionate about education and have had experience working with students and peers and providing educational support. I enjoy working and building a strong foundation with all of my students. I hope my students will be confident in their abilities to navigate their world once they go to college or enter the workplace. I always share with my students that no matter what obstacles they may be faced with, there are resources and ways to overcome the obstacles.
