Hi! I’m Maxwell! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from University of Houston – Downtown and I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from University of Houston. I have several years of experience tutoring mathematics and I have always been passionate about the theories behind math as well as its importance in academia. I believe this passion stems from the opportunities I have had to work with students from diverse backgrounds and seeing the different ways in which they understand math. My favorite part about coaching is that I am able to share my experiences in school, so that my students do not have to make the same mistakes that I did. It is an honor and a true privilege to help students and to see them succeed at whatever they do.
