Hi! I’m Michael ! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Anthropology and a master’s degree in Religion from Rice University. I have several years of tutoring and mentoring experience. I was trained in competitive speech and debate, and I am a member of the National Speech and Debate Association. I have extensive experience working with students with ADHD. I also have experience coaching high school students focusing specifically on speech, debate and forensics. I love the motivational aspect of coaching and seeing my students improve and grow more confident. I strive to make sure all my students possess strong organizational skills, tenacity and, most of all, a deep curiosity and a love of learning.
