Hi! I’m Michael! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Texas, El Paso. I’ve been in education for the past 14 years. Early in my career, I primarily worked as a REsponse to Intervention (RTO teacher, focusing on math and language arts. For the last seven years, I’ve transitioned into a role as robotics and engineering teacher. The best part of being an academic coach is the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives by helping them grow, develop skills, and achieve their goals. I want to constantly instill the value of resilience to my students. Learning to persist through challenges and to view failures as opportunities for growth can make a huge difference in their lifelong success.
