Hi! I’m Natividad, but you can call me Nati! I’m an Academic Coach with Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I earned my B.A. in Mathematics with a minor in Art and Education, as well as a Master’s in Education in Curriculum and Instruction. I began working with students as a teacher’s assistant at 16 and have since worked as a manager, teacher, and tutor with students ranging from age 4 to 60.
My experience has taught me that every student learns differently, and sometimes the best approach is to slow down, start over, and find a strategy that works for that individual. I chose SAOTG because I want to continue learning how students learn and help them develop skills like organization, time management, study skills, and impression management. What I love most about coaching is becoming part of a student’s learning journey and helping them feel seen and heard.
