Nivriti C

Hi! I’m Nivriti! I’m an Academic Coach with Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I am currently a double major at Rice University, pursuing degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Business Finance. I graduated from Westview High School in Portland, Oregon with a 4.00 unweighted GPA (4.52 weighted).

I’m deeply passionate about education and have spent years mentoring students across a wide range of ages, from introducing foundational science concepts to younger students to helping high school students prepare for standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, and PSAT. I focus on bridging the gap between everyday schoolwork and high-stakes testing strategies.

I chose to coach with SAOTG because I believe academic success is just as much about mindset and strategy as it is about content knowledge. Through my own academic journey, I’ve developed strong executive functioning skills, time management, organization, and stress regulation and I’m excited to help students build those same tools. What I love most about coaching is seeing the “lightbulb moment,” when students realize they’re capable of more than they thought possible.I hope to teach students that consistency matters more than intensity, and that breaking big goals into manageable steps makes success achievable. I want them to understand that setbacks are not failures, but opportunities to refine their approach and grow stronger.
