Hi! I’m Nyree! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Telecommunications from Baylor University and a Master’s in Mass Communication from University of Florida. I am a certified teacher, certified Special Education, and certified teacher for the Gifted and Talented. I have over 12 years of teaching experience in the classroom. School is important because it lays the framework for a child’s future. No matter what or who the child will become, they need to be successful in academics to be successful in life. I enjoy helping students overcome obstacles and learn the benefits of fine-tuning their executive functioning skills. Sometimes students are not aware of the skills they possess and need a helping hand to hone them. I want students to know that mistakes are key to learning, and there are often multiple paths to solutions.
