Hi! I’m Omer! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Public Health with a minor in Sociology from the University of Houston, along with an Associate of Science degree from Houston Community College. I completed my schooling in Saudi Arabia, where I focused heavily on science, math, and English studies.

I have worked in education for nearly seven years in a variety of settings, including after-school programs, preschool education, special education, and elementary classrooms. I’ve served as a teaching assistant in a self-contained special education classroom, a Pre-K co-teacher, a first-grade self-contained teacher, and currently work as a tech lab teacher and technology support specialist at the Arabic Immersion Magnet School. I chose SAOTG because I value its commitment to helping students not only succeed academically, but also develop the tools and skills needed for long-term success. What I love most about coaching is providing students with individualized support and helping them achieve the goals they set for themselves.
