Hi! I’m Philip! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a bachelor’s degree in Economics and American Studies double major, with a business minor from Vanderbilt University. Currently I am the geometry team lead at a high school in the Houston area. I also have experience working with high school aged students on financial literacy and personal finance. I enjoy supporting students with their academic and helping them learn with life skills. I enjoy coaching with SAOTG because I believe individualized attention is the best way to make the biggest impact with students. I work on creating a connection with each of my students and I enjoy watching them grow and succeed. I encourage all my students to practice self-care more. Specifically to make a sleep a priority as you are truly not performing your best when go day after day of being sleep deprived.
