Hi! I’m Precious! I’m an Academic Coach with Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. As a student, I tutored my peers in Algebra, Geometry, College Algebra, and Trigonometry, where I learned how to meet students where they are, identify areas of difficulty, and break challenging concepts into simpler steps.

I chose SAOTG because I connected with its focus on supporting students beyond academics. I believe students benefit enormously from having someone who listens to them, believes in them, and helps them discover what works best for them. What I love most about coaching is seeing the moment when something finally clicks and watching a student become more confident in their abilities. I hope to teach students that struggling does not mean they cannot succeed, and that asking for help, advocating for themselves, staying organized, and persevering are all important parts of success.
