Hi! I’m Rachel! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Humanities at Baylor University and my Post-baccalaureate in BIomedical Sciences and Health Equity from Baylor College of Medicine. Since I was an undergraduate student, I have volunteered as a tutor in various settings. From teaching math using game-based activities at Ryan Middle School’s Saturday School program to one-on-one virtual tutoring for a high school student in biochemistry, I am comfortable guiding students with a vast array of learning styles and needs. My hope is that students will develop the confidence to face challenges, the humility to learn from their mistakes, and the openness to share their joy, knowledge, and skills with others.
