Hi! I’m Shandrika! I’m an Academic Coach with Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and an Associate degree in Computer Support, combining strong communication skills with technical knowledge to effectively support students in their academic journeys.
My background includes academic coaching, guest teaching, and life coaching, where I’ve focused on helping students build essential skills like organization, time management, and effective communication. I chose to coach with SAOTG because its mission aligns deeply with my purpose, to help students feel seen, supported, and empowered to succeed both academically and in life.
What I love most about coaching is seeing a student’s confidence grow, those moments when their face lights up after accomplishing something they once thought was out of reach. I strive to help every student recognize their strengths and realize they are capable of more than they think. I hope to instill the values of perseverance, consistency, and a positive mindset, showing students that their potential is limitless when they believe in themselves.
