I taught English as a Second Language in South Korea in multiple academic and development settings. I have also taught adult ESL at Lonestar College, Cy-Fair. I focused on academic writing, comprehension, and speaking. I have helped students prepare for standardized testing and graduate school applications. When I served as Head Tutor in the Philosophy Department, I wrote my mini thesis on Plato’s theory of education. I believe that overall school is essential to developing social skills and self-advocacy. Writing and comprehension are essential for multiple aspects of life, as they develop creative problem solving and critical thinking skills as well.
