Hi! I’m Stephanie! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education at Louisiana College, and my Master’s in Education at Northwestern State University. I am certified in Early Childhood-8th grade and Special Education. I have over 30 years in education including Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, Special Education, reading interventionist, coaching new teachers, administration, and Assistant Principal. I love building new relationships and watching students thrive once they see “how to learn” and what strategies work for them. I want to instill in students the importance of being present and interactive with the world around them. To not only model and teach them how to manage their time, learning materials, etc but to be great communicators. Being able to watch a student grow into an independent learner is an amazing feeling!
