Hi! I’m Syorsha, but my friends call me Sasha! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Biology from Howard University in Washington, D.C. I have experience as a tutor, private in-home instructor, and school teacher, working with learners from kindergarten through 9th grade across Virginia, Texas, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
My background in Psychology allows me to meet students where they are-whether they’re in Honors or have IEP requirements-and personalize each session to build confidence and success. I love motivating students to take steps forward, no matter how small, and seeing their joy when they realize they can achieve what once felt impossible.
