Hi! I’m Tionna! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a bachelor’s degree in education from University of Houston – Downtown. I have over 4 years of teaching experience and I have had experience working as a kindergarten teacher, third grade teacher and as a private tutor. I am currently a special education teacher, where I work with students who have learning differences and students with neurological differences.
I enjoy working with my students and providing them with the help and support they require. I always encourage my students to accept every lesson and to live and learn from their experiences. I enjoy implementing the SAOTG program which focuses on executive functioning skills with the students with whom I work. I believe this helps not only with academic support, but also in instilling skills which will be beneficial throughout the student’s life!
