Hi! I’m Hamane! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a bachelor’s degree in geographical sciences from University of Maryland College Park. I have experience working in the special education program at a high school level. I also have experience working for a nonprofit focusing on STEM education. I have been a high school lacrosse coach for several years and enjoy supporting students with their academics and after-school activities as well. I enjoy coaching with SAOTG and focusing not only on the learning material, but also the executive functioning skills needed to excel now and in the future. I always encourage my students to try new things and remind them that everyone makes mistakes, but it is important to learn from them to ensure we do not repeat them.
