Jules Hampton

Hi! I’m Jules Hampton! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a minor in Psychology from Indiana State University. I also have a master’s of Arts in Adolescent Secondary Math Education and Masters of Science in College Student Personnel Administration. Currently, I serve as an Instructional Coordinator in private schools supporting novice teachers with building their toolbox for student academic success. I have been serving as a coach for the past two years and have nine years of supporting students reach their academic goals through academic advising and tutoring at the collegiate level, along with teaching mathematics. My definition of school is creating learning environments where students discover what interests them and gain the skills to advocate for what they believe is important for their long-term goals. I believe increasing student engagement allows students to be able to bring their personal identity, within the space to make this a holistic experience for everyone to grow. School allows us to focus on how to have a seat at the table to continue creating more space for the next generation to succeed. I believe that executive functioning skills separate students fundamentally post-high school. I find fulfillment in mentoring and coaching the next generation!
