Hi! I’m Emily! I am an Academic Coach for Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my master’s in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M. I am currently working on my PhD in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M. I am also a certified Irlen Screener. I have tutored students in my roles as a tutor and an undergraduate teaching scholar at Texas A&M University. I have also served as the Graduate School Advisor at the Texas A&M University Career Center for about three and a half years. In this role, I help college students (prospective graduate students) with their graduate school applications by proofreading documents such as admission essays, resumes, and CVs. I hope to instill in my students the importance of resilience, embracing the peaks and valleys of life with grace, and advocating for themselves!
