Hi! I’m Martin! I am an Academic Coach at Staying Ahead of the Game LLC. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry at University of St. Thomas. Currently I am a second-year medical student at A&M Medicine Houston. In college I was heavily involved in tutoring in all the science departments in different capacities. I was TA for biology, chemistry and physics labs, as well as a peer-tutor for all three subjects. Towards the end of college I became an all-subject K-8th tutor at homework help and tutoring. I love when students make a breakthrough with a difficult problem or subject area and we get in the academic “zone” during coaching. I want to teach students that education is not a straight path. There will be ups and downs and you are always doing the best that you can in that moment.
