Hi! I’m Samantha! I am an onboarding specialist and academic coach for SAOTG. I have a bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion from Weber State University and a master’s degree in Education Leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
I have over 13 years of experience working in education. I enjoy working with eager students in one-on-one settings to help them further their education through personalized support. Besides my education and work experience in schools, I feel like my experience in the United States Coast Guard Reserves has especially prepared me to motivate others. I love to share strategies that I have learned through experience with students to help them achieve their current and future. I plan to instill in my students the lesson that balance between life and school is very important because self-care helps you be more productive in other areas of your life.
After several years of academic coaching, I am thrilled to join the leadership team as an Onboarding Specialist. I love getting to know like-minded educators and sharing my own personal journey at SOATG.
